Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the GOSafe proof of concept handles information when you use gosafe.happymonkey.ai.
Information you provide
Location searches and trip dates are used to retrieve relevant risk information. Searches are sent to GOSafe's server and the external data providers needed to answer the request. If you create an account, GOSafe stores your email address and the trips you choose to save. Do not enter names, precise home addresses or other personal information.
Browser storage and cookies
GOSafe uses local browser storage to remember guest trips, alert preferences and your cookie-consent choice. Signed-in accounts use a strictly necessary secure session cookie. If you accept non-essential cookies, GOSafe loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID configured for this site) to measure aggregate page use of the proof of concept, with IP anonymisation enabled. Analytics cookies are not used for advertising and are not loaded if you reject non-essential cookies or leave the choice unset. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block core GOSafe features.
External data providers
To provide results, GOSafe requests information from public services that may include Open-Meteo, GDACS, NASA EONET, USGS, NOAA, JMA, Meteoalarm, WMO, FCDO, CDC and WHO. Those providers may receive technical request information such as requested location coordinates and the server IP address and operate under their own privacy policies. When analytics consent is given, Google may process technical usage data under Google's privacy terms for Google Analytics.
Technical information
The hosting infrastructure may process standard access logs including IP address, request time, browser information and requested URL for security, reliability and troubleshooting. Logs are not used for advertising or user profiling.
Retention and your choices
You can remove locally stored information through your browser's site-data settings. Magic sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and account sessions after 30 days. Saved trips remain until you delete them or your account. The Account page lets you permanently delete your email address, sessions and saved trips. Operational logs are retained only as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting.
Emails
GOSafe sends transactional sign-in links and trip summaries that you explicitly request. These messages are not used for marketing. Delivery infrastructure necessarily processes the recipient address and message content.
Changes
This policy may change as the proof of concept develops. The revision date above identifies the current version. Material changes to data collection should be disclosed before they take effect.
